It's getting close! WCC in Reno is just around the corner and promises to be quite a good time. For those of you that are interested, I'm going to lead a group ride up to Reno on Sunday August 17, 2014. Recently I received the attached invitation from CA I to meet up with them in Auburn for lunch on the way to Reno. Which coincided with my plans anyway. 

 

So here's the plan, we will meet up locally on 10:15 am at the Sears Parking lot at Sunvalley Mall in Concord on Sunday August 17, 2014. We will ride up to Auburn and meet with CA I at the Sizzler Restaurant at 13570 Lincoln Way in Auburn at noon for lunch. As a group we will then all head up 80 to Reno, arriving between 2:30 and 3:00 pm for check in at the El Dorado.

 

I would greatly appreciate a head count of those that are planning to join us, so we can give CA I advance notice of how many we shall be! Look forward to seeking you all and enjoying the week of comraderie and fun.

Greetings from Sparks Nevada!  I would like to invite those members of CAVII and CAV and friends, who are attending the WCC in August to a BBQ at my home in Sparks.  As many of you know, Sue and I moved to Sparks from Redwood City just about 2 years ago to be closer to family and friends, but we still miss our Blue Knight Brothers and Sisters. Although Nevada II has done a great job of planning the conference convention with lots of things to do, I thought that there might be time for us to get together at our home for an evening BBQ.  We live about 10 miles from the Eldorado but it is an easy drive.  I was thinking about Tuesday evening after everyone returns from their day activity about 7pm ISH.  We are blessed with a spectacular view of the Sierra Nevada Range and Spanish Springs valley.  If anyone is interested send me an E-Mail or a phone call.

 

 

Directions to 4683 Tobago Dr Sparks nevada:  from downtown go east on Hwy 80 to Greg st/ Vista Blvd.  Turn left on to Vista.  Follow Vista for Ten miles to Lacerta.  Make a right on Lecerta.  Drive up the hill on Lacerta until it "T" intersects with Desert Fox.  Make a right turn on Desert Fox and follow it around past Silian Ct then past Jacmel Ct to Tobago Drive make a right then straight to 4683 on the right about half a block.  FYI if you follow GPS you'll get here but it is a more confusing route
