Our Annual CA-7 picnic will again be at the Treasure Island Yacht club thanks to our members and gracious hosts Pete and Connie Van Puten. The area has been under construction in the past, so drive in passed the guard gate (which is now gone)turn right on California St. then take your first right behind the hangers to get there. If your feet get wet, you have gone too far.
Our hosts will be cooking their famous “Pirate Burgers” (they have cheese mixed into the meat) and I am sure we can get Nick’s famous gourmet links there too.. Please RSVP here or on the Facebook group of what you can bring. We will need, buns for sausages only (yacht club providing hamburger buns), (the club will provide sodas and water). Things to bring for the pot luck are, salads, condiments, desserts, a cooler with ice, chips, dips, fruit. Please be careful getting there, since we all know how traffic can be. There is a chili cook off event in SF and an A’s night game, but traffic still can be an issue.
For anyone wishing to purchase our chapters newest badges, I still have a few more left. They are $95. So I’ll bring a few.
